I am really digging the Avatar kit but I hated the sloppy snare so I added the Nashville kit's Black Beauty(sounds way better than the Avatar Black Beauty).
I think its a better pop/rock kit than the stock ezdrummer set). If SD is working, it can call up any of your ezdrummer sound sets(the Nashville kit is my fav, but NOT because I am in Nashville. I'm not sure but I have had no problems running ezdrummer in Pro Tools for over a year now, going back to PT7. AFAIK, ezplayer is for stand-alone operation. ezdrummer works on a stereo instrument track(not mono). Assuming you are registered with toontrack, its a free download. Start with Rail's suggestion on updating ezdrummer.
